This policy explains what Augie, a Discord application operated by Defrag Pty Ltd (ABN 89 655 574 940), trading as Augminted ("we", "us"), stores about you, why it stores it, and how to have it removed. It's written to be read, not skimmed past — if anything here is unclear, ask: contact@defrag.au.
The short version
Augie stores your Discord user ID and, per server, your display name; it stores the Cardano wallets you choose to link; and it stores your activity in its games. It reads public blockchain data about linked wallets. It does not read your messages, does not sell data, and does not use it for advertising. You can unlink a wallet at any time, and you can ask us to delete everything.
What we store
Discord identity. When you use an Augie command, we record your Discord user ID and — per server — your display name, username and avatar reference, so that leaderboards, mission summaries and similar features can show who did what. In servers that use role-based features, we also record which of that server's roles you hold.
Linked wallets. If you choose to link a wallet, we store its stake address and, if it has one, its ADA Handle. Linking works by you signing a message in your own wallet; we store the fact that you proved control of the address, not your keys, and never anything that lets us act as you.
Game and reward activity. Points, missions run, squads, in-game items, competition entries and reward history, keyed to your Discord user ID and, where relevant, the server it happened in.
Public chain data. For linked wallets, we look up what the wallet holds using public blockchain data and third-party indexers. This is public information; we cache it so commands are fast.
What we do not do
- We do not read the content of your Discord messages. Augie responds to slash commands and button presses, and receives only what Discord sends for those interactions.
- We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to profile you outside of Augie's own features.
- We do not store private keys, seed phrases, or anything that could move your assets.
Why we store it
To make Augie work: to remember who you are between commands, to show your holdings and rank when a server has enabled those tools, to run games and keep their state, and to attribute rewards correctly. That's the whole list.
Who can see it
Some of what Augie stores is shown inside Discord by design — a mission result posted to a channel, a leaderboard, your rank. That's visible to whoever can see that channel. Server administrators can see activity in their own server.
We use Cloudflare to host Augie, and third-party blockchain indexers to read chain data. They process data on our behalf to provide the service and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Where your data lives
Defrag Pty Ltd is an Australian company. Augie runs on Cloudflare's network, so data may be processed in whichever region serves a request; Cloudflare acts as our processor and not on its own behalf.
How long we keep it
Wallet links are kept until you unlink them. Game and reward history is kept for as long as it's needed to run the features it belongs to — a season's records, for instance, are kept for that season and its history. Cached chain data expires on its own.
Your choices
- Unlink a wallet at any time from within Discord. Doing so removes the link; anything derived from that wallet stops being associated with you.
- Leave a server and Augie stops receiving anything about you there.
- Ask us to delete everything we hold about your Discord account: email contact@defrag.au from an address you can verify, or contact us through Discord. We'll confirm when it's done.
Children
Augie is not directed at children, and follows Discord's minimum age requirements. If you believe a child has used it, tell us and we'll remove the data.
Changes
If we materially change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page.
